Install Instructions

1. Download URLExaminer here: URLExaminer Web Monitor Service Download
2. Execute the downloaded file URLExaminerSetup.exe and follow on screen instructions
3. Reboot if prompted
4. Run the configuration program URLExaminer Config from your start menu
5. Follow the on screen configuration instructions
6. Make sure you do the following when configuring
   1. Set a valid log file folder
      1. Create folder if needed
      2. Some parts of windows requires special security to be assigned.  Typically a folder under C:\Temp will not require this
      3. The service will not start unless a valid folder with approprate security is assigned.
   2. Change the license key if you purchased one (otherwise leave the default)
   3. Set the service startup type
   4. Setup at least one URL to be monitored
   5. Successfully save the file
   6. Start the service
7. Verify that the log file is created when starting the service
8. Use a test website or ULR that you know will fail to test both types of notifications.
